Rebranding Folgers Coffee

A new crop of coffee drinkers has emerged, necessitating a rebranding effort. While Folgers had a historical branding design, it didn't particularly stand out to a younger demographic.

The majority of coffee drinkers today prefer to go to coffee cafes rather than stay at home and make their own. With that in mind, this idea rebrand offers a more timeless and traditional logo, as well as an expansion of the brand for a cafe. Folgers being a very well-established brand that seems to be deep rooted in it's history. Taking this into account, the logo and the surrounding design could be made in such a way that it displays itself as 'not-so-new' while also embracing that fact.

The logo is made in a way that it keep it's maximalist elements while also making use of more modern elements like type and change the way that colour is used in order to seem more approachable by just anyone that may be part of Folgers' target audience.
